Almond Milk & Coconut Oil Boost

I have been adding almond milk and coconut oil to my morning coffee for that extra boost. Boy can I tell a big difference in how I feel. The coconut oil has been a daily addition to my coffee, but now instead of cream, I have been using unsweetened almond milk. You get the healthy fats from the coconut oil and the fiber, protein and nutrients from the almond milk. Almonds are rich in vitamins and minerals, so almond milk doesn't need to be fortified. Almonds contain vitamin E, manganese, selenium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, fiber, phosphorous and calcium. The flavonoids in almond milk help prevent cancer and slow the signs of aging. The high levels of antioxidant vitamin E found in almond milk make it very effective in the prevention of cancer. Coconut oil can help with everything from soothing a dry scalp, providing the essential proteins required for nourishing damaged hair to helpng skin ailments like psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema. So, next time you want to try something different in your hot tea or coffee..try the almond milk pack with nutrients, and the coconut oil to give you that boost you need to get you going..especially when weight loss is involve...the fat burning mode is what gets me excited.
