Why We Store Too Much Fat

Ok, so after many many months of watching, reading and understanding this whole fat process thing our body does, I felt maybe I could share what I learned and why I can go back to my childhood and remember all the kids I use to play with at the playground, and not a single kid was over weight, I won't use the word "fat" because growing up, it was a "dirty slang" almost to the point throwing rocks at someone.I had to watch this video a few times to understand insulin and fat cells, and who is in charge and why over time, it takes more insulin to move the fat and over time you become insulin resistance and keep storing the fat if you don't change the amount of carbohydrates you are consuming.

First, take a look at the excellent clip from the movie Fat Head

For decades we've been told gaining and losing weight is all about the calories. Just one little problem: the research says otherwise. Diabetics undergo dramatic weight changes when they adjust their insulin levels -- and so do you. Your diet determines how much insulin your body will produce over time. From the documentary "Fat Head."
